Will is passionate about helping them develop a deeper understanding of the subject rather than relying solely on memorisation.

Teaching & Mentoring Style

Will believes that Biology is best understood visually. His teaching style focuses heavily on the use of diagrams, images and illustrations to help students make sense of complex processes and relationships within the subject.

He is particularly skilled at listening carefully to students’ questions and identifying areas where understanding may be incomplete. By adapting explanations to suit individual learners, he helps students address weaknesses and build confidence in topics they may previously have found difficult.

Will also has a particular strength in breaking down complex biological processes into smaller, manageable sections, helping students tackle challenging topics step-by-step. Alongside this, he enjoys supporting students with essay-writing skills and showing them how to structure clear, logical and well-developed responses.

What Students Find Helpful
