I found this course extremely useful towards achieving an A my biology A-level. It was very clear and concise and helped reduce how overwhelming it felt to learn large volumes of content in college. Clare helped me to simplify difficult concepts and stay consistent with my revision, both of which enabled me to better understand the course and feel prepared when exam season arrived.

Biology by Clare was an invaluable investment for my son's A-levels. Clare helped my son achieve an A* in Biology and get into his top choice university. The summer revision sessions kept him engaged over the summer break, and the subsequent structured topic tutorials meant that he was often one step ahead in his college lessons. Most useful I think for my son, was the focus from Clare on exam technique, keyword application and knowledge application which were areas he used to find challenging. While he would have achieved a high grade anyway, we feel that Clare's support elevated his grade to an A*.

I joined Clare’s sessions in February of Year 13 after my mocks, and found the commitment to contact time with students whilst also providing even further tuition hours with other mentors to be incredible! Clare never missed a session and always provided an incredible atmosphere that allowed us as students to make mistakes and grow to understand the content as we needed. Clare provided a truly warm experience, and her wit and humour made me laugh and truly enjoy the experience, providing many anecdotes and humourful stories that came to help me remember content. An amazing platform and Tutors that go above and beyond for A-Level students, could not recommend more.

Before joining I really struggled with understanding the biology content and couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed, but with Clare’s help learning content became much easier. Mistakes were never judged and each lesson was extremely engaging and simple to follow. The online resources have proved vital in the past few months before exams and I now feel so much more confident in my abilities.

I joined Clare’s teaching programme just before the Easter holidays in Year 13, and it has made a huge difference to my confidence and understanding of Biology. The three evening lessons each week kept everything fresh in my mind, and the Easter programme came at exactly the right time. I’ve always found it overwhelming trying to revise such a huge subject, but having a clear topic each day and working through it, alongside other students, made everything feel so much more manageable and far less intimidating.
Clare’s lessons are engaging, structured, and really easy to follow. She is incredibly patient and explains concepts in ways that actually stick. In school, topics are often mentioned briefly and then moved on from, but Clare takes the time to break everything down properly, which has massively improved my understanding.
She also teaches how to revise effectively, which you are never taught. The lesson recordings have been great for me, especially when school gets busy. Making the voice recordings of the content meant I could listen when in an art lesson, travelling, or whenever I had a spare moment. It helped me stay consistent in a way I never managed before, and slowly my confidence started to grow. I don’t second‑guess myself the way I used to.
Before joining, I was getting Ds and Cs. In my most recent Paper 3 mock, I was just four marks off an A*. That kind of progress felt impossible a few months ago, and I know it wouldn’t have happened without Clare’s teaching, her support, particularly in the essay questions. I’m genuinely proud of how far I’ve come in confidence and grades and I'm incredibly grateful to her for helping me get here.

doing Biology with Clare has had a very significant impact on my learning. The main sessions are in small groups and I've found that very helpful because it means each individual receives focused attention, and its a very supportive environment, allowing you to not be afraid of making mistakes, but instead you get to learn from them. Lessons are really easy to follow, regardless of the fact you may not have always covered content in class. They're also recorded which means the timing is flexible and works around you, you dont have to miss out. There's also a plethora of support available from the mentors each week, and again, the format is very easy to follow. The number one thing that surprised me about the program was the endless support, using the platform to ask a question out of session times , as well as the responsiveness to feedback, youre always considered in the planning. My final words are that I've certainly become ALOT more confident since doing the program, Biology has always been a weak area for me but even now, the program has helped me gain alot of confidence, being able to apply things across topics, and also realise that I am capable, so no matter how stuck Biology makes you feel, its certainly a program worth considering

I only joined Clare half way through Year 13 but she was able to provide the exact support I needed and filled in all my gaps. There had been non-stop support each week excluding the 3 lessons a week I had with her but yet the other mentors are also very friendly and always there to help when needed. Clare's teaching was very different to how I was taught in school as she broke down each content to ensure you understand each section of the topic before answering exam questions which I found was extremely useful. I normally tend to dread online lessons but Clare makes it very interactive which is another bonus.

It was ten times more support than I expected , there was non stop support sessions outside of the set sessions twice a week. Each session was planned so that everyone was engaged despite the bigger class sizes which is very impressive. And I now have routines and ways of revision I would never have dreamed of doing before, that are helping me significantly more than old styles of revision

Clare was really helpful, friendly and encouraging. Always made the lessons engaging and helped having weekly sessions to keep you motivated and on target. I would really recommend !!

The sessions with Clare are amazing! I went from getting Cs and D on my tests to getting As and A stars. The sessions are very interactive and cover all of the topics in detail which is great. Clare asks questions and everyone writes down answers and she gives feedback on them as well as asking questions which you respond to verbally which is really helpful. She also gives lots of great tips for how to remember things and for exam technique. There are also lots of great support sessions that you can go to ask questions on topics.

I cannot recommend Biology with Clare enough. If you have the slightest concerns about your A-levels - run, don’t walk to speak to her.
Clare went out of her way to arrange a time to meet with my daughter and I when her usual schedule clashed with ours. She was extremely knowledgeable but approachable, and took the time to really listen to my daughter’s concerns. She was able to offer her advice and tips straight away that might help her.
At no point did I feel the “hard sell” or pushed into anything and felt Clare genuinely just wanted the best for us, as evidenced by the advice she offered despite being honest enough to say that she didn’t feel she was the best person to help us. Typically my daughters exam board is different to that which Clare was used to. How many businesses would do just have skipped over that fact for a “sale”.
Clare, you would not believe what a difference that half hour has made to my daughter’s outlook. We’ve gone from being uninspired and dreading lessons, to being reinvigorated that she at least now had a plan of where she is going and how to start to climb this mountain.
Thank you, from a relived (slightly gutted we won’t be working with you) and eternity grateful mum from Wales and it’s funny exam boards!
