Lucy is studying Natural Sciences at the University of Bath and recently achieved an A* in A-Level Chemistry. Having completed her A-Levels only recently, she understands exactly what today's students are experiencing and combines clear explanations with practical revision strategies to help them build confidence and achieve their potential.

Lucy is currently studying Natural Sciences at the University of Bath, one of the UK’s leading universities for science. Before university, she achieved an A* in Chemistry, an A in Biology and an A in Mathematics at A-Level, alongside an A* in her Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).

Having recently completed her own A-Level studies, Lucy has an excellent understanding of the challenges students face and the knowledge required to succeed. She supports students studying AQA A-Level Chemistry, helping them strengthen both subject knowledge and exam technique.

Her strong scientific background allows her to explain complex concepts clearly and make links between different areas of the course, helping students develop a deeper understanding of Chemistry.

Lucy believes that effective teaching should be clear, focused and interactive. She aims to present information in a concise and accessible way, ensuring students are not overwhelmed by unnecessary complexity.

A key part of her approach is regularly asking questions throughout sessions to check understanding and encourage active participation. This allows her to identify misconceptions early and adapt explanations to suit individual students’ needs.

Lucy is particularly passionate about helping students develop effective revision habits. She understands that success at A-Level is not simply about working harder, but about working in a structured and organised way. She enjoys helping students create revision systems that are realistic, manageable and effective.

She also has a particular strength in Chemistry calculations, helping students develop confidence with quantitative questions and the step-by-step methods needed to secure marks consistently.
